How to enable AC Recovery on the computer?

Before using the smart plug, the computer motherboard must support the AC recovery function (AC recovery )

That is, the system will automatically start after the computer is powered on, so as to realize the remote start function.

  • Enter the motherboard BIOS
Immediately after pressing the host power, repeatedly click Delete/F2/F12 to enter the BIOS setup.
NOTE: Different motherboards vary, if you do not have access, please contact the motherboard manufacturer for assistance.
  • Automatic start after power failure

Computers with AC Recovery or AC Power Recovery function under the BIOS power management menu can support automatic power-on after power failure.

If your computer does not have this feature, it is not supported.

In most cases, set the following settings in Power Management :
AC Recovery, AC Power Recovery, After Power Loss, AC BACK
( Power on after power outage ) or similar, find it and enable it.

Take the Dell motherboard as an example:
Enter the power management settings - AC Recovery is set to: On.

Take Lenovo motherboard as an example:
Enter Power-After Power Loss is set to: Power On.

Take ASUS motherboard as an example:
Enter Advanced - Advanced Power Management (APM), set the power state to: Power On.

Take GIGABYTE motherboard as an example:
Enter power management - AC BACK is set to: Always On.

Note: If you are not sure whether the motherboard BIOS supports the AC Recovery function, please contact the motherboard manufacturer directly to confirm.
